Kunda Resort, Nepal

Kunda Resort, Nepal

A Himayalan Destination of Sustainable Luxury.

Elevated at an altitude of 3,280 meters with stunning panoramic views of the Mount Everest Himalayan range, Kunda is an upcoming remote resort that is a destination in itself, isolated from the world.

The design of the restaurant mirrors the majestic curves of the Himalayan range, reflecting the harmonious blend of nature and architecture.  The restaurant and bar serve a menu that features locally sourced, high-altitude organic foods, blending traditional flavors with modern culinary innovation with a panoramic view over Mount Everest.

Storytelling takes center stage at the fireplace, where ancient legends, folklore, and tales of the mighty Himalayas come alive. It is a celebration of heritage, a bridge between past and present, and an invitation to forge connections with the soul of Nepal.

The low impact construction is carried out by skillful local laborers, using locally sourced natural materials.

The wellness center appears as a composition of mysterious solid rings that can stand the harsh mountain weather conditions. The spa inside is a sanctuary to offer protection for the guests to practice wellness activities whatever the weather. The skylight-lit interior spaces invite to relax and contemplate. Guests can pamper themselves in the aromatic steam room, massage, yoga and meditation room and a Himalayan inspired medical consultation room – making it the perfect getaway destination in the Himalayas.

Accommodation domes

The guests are accommodated in thermally insulated, geodesic domes equipped with a stove inside and hot tub on the balcony.
