Soneva Gili, Maldives
Our CEO Louis Thompson was employed to create a permaculture garden on the island to provide fresh fruit and vegetable to the resorts food and beverage department. The initial mission was complicated by the advent of the 2004 Tsunami which did extensive damage to the resort and its gardens. In the following year the rehabilitation of the island included regenerative landscape design work, transplanting of dozens of coconut trees and construction management for the hardscape elements to enable the resort to reopen in appropriate style.
